My face when I got up this morning

to find that we are without power again! It is 6am and I just checked, power wet off around the 3.30 am. I hope it is not more cable theft! My freezer defrosted at the last one which was about 46 hours! Such a mess and sorry sight! Who knows how long it will last this time.🤬
Just received an update fom our HOA, it was cable theft! The thieves found the copper cables replaced with Aluiminium and set them alight! Might get our power back tonight 😰

Great shot and title. So sorry to hear about your woes. We lost the contents of our freezer when we were without power for 4 days a couple of years ago and then we bought a generator. At least we can now save the fridge, freezer and still have some electricity for other essentials too when the power goes out

i've been reading your little adventure with power outage. i don't know why people want to make other people's lives miserable. the buyers of the copper wires should be prosecuted when caught as that is abetting the crime. two days without power for such a reason is just horrible. i hope all's well now.

@summerfield Thanks so much Vikki, it is an ongoing nightmare here. Covid is not helping as so many people are without jobs and starving. The government is useless and the people get almost no support. It is turning rather bad, as they refuse to give white squatters any food parcels. The reason being that they did not vote ANC. So sick and tired of all these issues here with our extremely corrupt government. I would leave tomorrow, but hubby not ;-)
