We have lost many vineyards to fire this year. Maybe we will get more South African wines for awhile. Love how the vineyard rows lead right through the photo.
@brigette Sauvignon blanc would be my favourite followed by a Chenin. There are very few reds that I like :-) @gosia These last 2 years we did, but the farmers have their own dams with enough water. They are mostly close to a river and use that water too ;-) @merrelyn Fortunately they are open again Merrelyn. They sure had major losses during covid as they were not even allowed to export ;-)
Lovely scene with the vines leading up to the mountains. I loved the wineries we visited when we were in Cape-town several years ago. You’re lucky to have them at your doorstep.
