Unusual trees shading the market

at Blaauwklippen. Unfortunately nobody could tell me what they are called.
They look like the Banyan trees we get here in Australia.

Hi. In a huge coincidence uploaded a ficus or banyan tree today. These look like that it a fig tree. I am no expert. Great photos put together very well.

I think they might be Banyan trees too. They certainly look similar to them! Your photos of them are amazing.

I know I have seen photos of this kind of tree before on 365 but I don't remember what they were called. It seems like you've had some good suggestions above though. Great triptych- they sure are fascinating to look at.
