Devon Valley

Probably the most beautiful valley here in Stellenbosch. There are more wine estates in this valley than in the others.

I think I must still have some covid in my brain. I forgot that I started my 6th year yesterday :-)

Beautiful wine estates. Last night the news said the wineries in France are really struggling because of climate change and some were moving to Great Britain. I know our wineries have greatly suffered this past couple of years because of severe drought. So I am hoping your vineyards and wineries are fairing better than ours. @shutterbug49 Thanks Debbie, many of our wine farms are not doing well and for sale after our drought a few years ago. Then came covid which was the last nail in the coffin! For months they were not allowed to sell, export or transport their wine, that sure killed the smaller ones. They have had to put their prices up, so many are not drinking as much anymore. Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year too xx
