Next stop after Muizenberg

is Dalebrook. One first tidal pools in Cape town in 1907. Unfortunately it was low tide when I took this shot.

This is where my sister and I probably learned to swim as soon as we could walk. We had regular picnics here almost every Saturday.

Here the beach houses are all in tact, except that the last 3 were set alight a while back.

The lines continue on to Simonstown, which is the SA naval base. Fish Hoek and Simonstown are far off on the left.
