Same thing I thought of the building that they must have been toilets. Now that the Covid scare seems to be history, nice to see the markings to remind us of what we had to go through.
If it were in use, when Covid was a thing, it hasn’t been that long since it was abandoned! I assumed it had been abandoned longer than that. A nice photo of it.
That building has a sad face to say the least. Most traces of covid have been erased in my area. Of course, there are always a few holdouts who like living in a controlled environment.
It's a shame when buildings fall into decline, and not repurposed. we have a Station quite close to us where the train only stops 'by request'. But the building is being repurposed into a family home. (Ithink you have to be a train enthusiast tho,).
I agree with some others here that it would be great if it could be repurposed. For now, the weeds are claiming it. A great shot, Diana, to capture its demise.
@onewing There has always been a problem of sorts on this line Babs, they were very irregular and there was a lot of vandalism. People sometimes just got thrown out while the train was moving :-(
