Covid markings still in place by ludwigsdiana

Covid markings still in place

and I should imagine that was the last time the train passed here.

No idea what this building is, it could even have been toilets.
It does look rather abandoned! Great photo of it

A little piece of history right there!

So sad to see the decline. Were the trains used regularly pre Covid?

Same thing I thought of the building that they must have been toilets. Now that the Covid scare seems to be history, nice to see the markings to remind us of what we had to go through.

Sad to see with the weeds in front. Perhaps they could convert to solar powered trains when the weather is nice.

If it were in use, when Covid was a thing, it hasn’t been that long since it was abandoned! I assumed it had been abandoned longer than that. A nice photo of it.

Nice capture of whatever it was!

Funny, we'll see them for a long, long time!

Interesting

It doesn’t seem that a lot is needed to make this place nice and running again. Nice capture of the time.

Nice find and composition

So interesting looking. We have Covid markings at places here, too.
June 6th, 2023
Great find and capture

That building has a sad face to say the least. Most traces of covid have been erased in my area. Of course, there are always a few holdouts who like living in a controlled environment.

How sad to see that reminder of a bad timing in our lives. Great capture of it.

It's a shame when buildings fall into decline, and not repurposed. we have a Station quite close to us where the train only stops 'by request'. But the building is being repurposed into a family home. (Ithink you have to be a train enthusiast tho,).

Such a shame to not be used
June 6th, 2023
A sad sight, there are so many places looking like this everywhere here.
June 6th, 2023
This looks very overgrown, but the building is still in fine condition
June 6th, 2023
Looks in need of some attention.
June 6th, 2023
It’s so dilapidated it’s intriguing.
June 6th, 2023
Not much going on there now… the barred doors are pretty imposing.
June 6th, 2023
lovely capture of a dismal scene

And nature takes over, at last and alway`s. Great find and shot.

I agree with some others here that it would be great if it could be repurposed. For now, the weeds are claiming it. A great shot, Diana, to capture its demise.

Nice capture of this small building in the train station.
June 7th, 2023
Definitely could be toilets with the high windows. I wonder why the train doesn’t pass or stop any longer.
June 7th, 2023
Cool capture.

@onewing There has always been a problem of sorts on this line Babs, they were very irregular and there was a lot of vandalism. People sometimes just got thrown out while the train was moving :-(
June 7th, 2023
@marlboromaam They are just about bankrupt Mags, many trains are not going anymore :-(
June 7th, 2023
@kvphoto Everything that can open has barred windows and doors in this country KV :-(
June 7th, 2023
It's certainly not very inviting
June 7th, 2023
So poignant.
