All Cows wear bells on the Alps.

It is a wonderful sound as they are up and down feeding. Each bell somehow sounds different. It is also great when they take a rest, as there are so many cows and they can be quite noisy.

@koalagardens I think it is so that they can be found at herding time, those mountains are very high and steep. They are only out during the summer months.
