Bachelor Boy

Meet Cliff our poor buck who challenged the leader of the pack, and has been kicked out. He has been on his own for at least 6 months now. Some days he spends in our olive grove with the dikkops. I don't know who named him Cliff, but it reminded me of an old song by Cliff Richard.

The females always stay in a group with the strongest ram. Last year there were four of them who challenged the leader and they stayed together for almost 1 year. They were then taken to another estate by nature conservation to avoid inbreeding here.
