it was flat out on the ground, but must have sensed that I was around. I did not even get too close as the parents were very wary. So strange that although only a few days old, they sit like the parents and are so fully alert. Just look at that little yellow leg!
He really blends in so perfectly- a necessity when so little! Their instinct must kick in automatically at birth- plus watching their parents. Good shot!
