Pennington Point by lupus

Pennington Point

Pennington Point, Sidmouth on the Devon Coast. The soft Sandstones and Mudstones of the Triassic rocks (250-203million years) are easily eroded turning the sea a brick red colour.
Lovely photo - Fav. But Devon rather than Dorset?

@lupus that's ok! Easy to do as so close to the county border - Devon is red and Dorset is gold :-) A lovely stretch of coastline, whatever County you're in, and your photo really shows the colours, textures and drama
