@milaniet It's actually easier than it looks. First I converted to black and white. Then I used Photoshop to select his eye and create a rainbow gradient layer over the top of it...I think I used "screen" to make it look transparent so his pupil would show through! If you don't use Photoshop that probably sounded like a different language, but I promise you it was pretty simple as far as editing goes. I have a different technique that I will eventually try...probably on my daughter's eye! :)
Wow -- this is really an effectives shot! Thanks for explaining how you did this -- someday I'll have the software, but for now, I'll just enjoy yours and watch for the next one!
Awesome! I love the shot! And they rainbow eye really adds to it! Thx for explaining. There's so many ways to do the same thing in Photoshop, it helps to know which way something is done! Always learning!
This is really magnificent!! I am in awe! I will have to get this program this summer. Just want to know if I can do it before I spend so much money on Photoshop. Which Photoshop again and how much did it cost?
@lbluejaye8 This is Photoshop Elements 11, which I got about a year ago and knew NOTHING at the time. Everyone on here is so helpful and Youtube has some great step by step tutorials as well. I am pretty sure Photoshop has a newer version out now (Elements 12) and it cost me about $99, but I think it is even cheaper now. You won't regret it!! :)
