A sad day yesterday - one of my hubby's friends died after suffering with cancer for a while. The horse and carriage carrying his coffin was beautiful.

Due to restrictions we couldn't go in the church but could hear the ceremony on our phones after logging in. Technology has certainly eased many aspects of lockdown.
So sorry for your loss, you must have had a lump in your throat taking this lovely shot.

Sad news. Wonderful that technology can actually help in these circumstances.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend. Thankfully you were able to be a part of the memorial service even though you weren't inside. The horse-drawn hearse is a bittersweet good-bye. Beautiful but final.

Sorry for your loss. It is very difficult in these times to say goodbye in a way that we would like.
