A Dragon to Train by lyndemc

A Dragon to Train

"So, how exactly DOES one train a dragon?" Danny thinks to himself as he thumbs through the manual that conveniently came with his new pet dragon. (A tough thing to do when you don't have thumbs.) From the look on the dragon's face, it would seem the book is clueless and that Danny should perhaps just wing it, no pun intended.

For the 365 Toys Theme Appreciate a Dragon Day.
Very fun.

Ok. Absolutely love this! Loved the movie! Love the creative setup! Where did you get such an itty bitty book? Fav

Great fun photo. I do love Danbo but am worried that Dragon may be working out what to do with Danbo judging by the look in his eye. One hot breath and I fear he may go up in smoke.

How cute!

I have to fave this because there are two things that I really wish existed - dragons and unicorns. How I would love to ride on the back of either - really!

Love the book in Danbo's hands - that yellow catches your eyes immediately. Then of course the look in the dragon's eye makes you wonder what is on HIS mind! Such a cute set-up and wonderful commentary to go with it.

Danny is very brave, hope the book does offer some inspiration as I guess it can be hard to train a dragon!

Oh Denise where did you get one of these cute dragons from the movie?
January 17th, 2015
I think the dragon is rolling his eyes! Denise & Debs @dibzgreasley where did I miss the feed about "Appreciate a Dragon Day"? (Obviously I haven't played with toys for a very long time!)

@Weezilou Hi
The new theme for the toy group is posted every Sunday evening (US time).
You can still play with your dragon until then if you want, the tag is 365toys-dragon or read about it here http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/24590/toys-on-365-appreciate-a-dragon
January 17th, 2015
@Weezilou PS I can add you to our tag list if you like?
January 17th, 2015
@dibzgreasley Thanks, Debs! This was fun! Add me to the tag list, but P d'P will be heading to Chicago one day. Clearly, I was unclear of the concept...and *my* Dragon is truly a mythical beast! Partnering with a 2 year old to get a much-needed photo for the story line caused a moment of family dissension! The true "knight in shining armor" was my daughter who sent me the 20 sec video for some photo clips! Upside: One day Bodhi will see what we all went through to bring him his toy and a story to go with it and he'll laugh...and love us all the more!

January 18th, 2015

January 18th, 2015
Love that dragon! Fun shot Denise.
January 18th, 2015
What a cute shot and story, Denise! So...did he figure it out?
January 19th, 2015
Tee-hee! Dragon looks like he needn't have any training. Thank you for playing with us.
January 19th, 2015
@lyndemc P.S. Aahh! Danny was not actually holding a book! Very clever Photoshop! Thanks for answering my question.

Deb
You go Danny! With a dragon breathing down his neck, he looks awful calm. Although the dragon does appear to be rolling his eyes and losing his patience. What a fun and playful shot!
