@randystreat Thanks Kathy. My neighbor-man makes the acorn-shaped bird houses. He's asked me for several years now if I've seen a wren in mine and this is the first year I'll be able to say Yes!.

@terryliv Actually "fids" is my way of saying "kids" when talking about birds. It's a bird thing, I suppose. Typos are highly likely though.

@jamibann The little bird stayed put for the longest time allowing me to catch all sorts of poses, including several with her hanging out of the 'doorway' quite a ways. It was tough choosing which pic to post. A son walked by and pointed at this particular one so I went with it.

@cutekitty Actually I got lucky and just happened to see her sitting there. My lucky continued as she remained in the doorway while I went to get my camera and then stayed there so I could get a whole bunch of pics. I see her most every day now; she's a friendly little wren!

How charming, both the bird and the bird nest, I have never seen one like that before. I love how you have captured the little head peeping out and the whole shot looks wonderful with those background colours.
