364 To Go!

Just think of all the new things we're going to notice, see in a different way, focus in on because we keep a camera close at hand.

Here's to all the new pictures we're going to create in the coming year.
Love it!

Another beautiful composition, including a classic piece of photographic equipment - a REAL camera!

When I returned to 365 today, I was happy to see that you'd returned as well! Lovely image and sentiment to go with it. Yes, photography certainly does impact how we see. Happy snapping in 2017!

I'm back too! I missed 365 so much in 2016! I always love your shots, Denise!

I was just talking about you to my husband today saying I wish I could conjure up just a little of the creativity you have to come up with some planned shots that I could use indoors - outdoors is getting rough these last weeks! This is a perfect example - so simple but so catching - just the little added touches that make it outstanding. Fav - I'm so glad you're back!

What a wonderful photo, Denise. Camera or cell phone in hand. I do not have photos posted for the time I have been on 365 but have made the best of friends here and learned so much over 5 years along with posting as I can and the same with commenting. To a wonderful 2017, Happy New Year. FAV

Happy New Year Denise and happy shooting in 2017... when are we going to get some more brown? Or how about brown for the whole year?
January 2nd, 2017
I second what Milanie says ... simple but so catching! You have such creative ideas for putting together a still life. This is lovely and I look forward to your next 364!

@vignouse There was so much brown in this image I wondered if someone would ask if I was doing the color theme in January.

Ooh nostalgia! My father bought me an OM10 for my 20th birthday and I used it for years. Still my favourite camera and I still have it, though film is not so easy to come by or process in these digital days. Lovely picture.

@casablanca Isn't that something, that you too had one of these little jewels in your youth. I believe I was 19 when I bought this one. I've been challenged to put a roll of film in it and see what I can produce; it's tempting, but like you said, film is now hard to find. Thanks for stopping by.

Amazing, about the same age! It is a gem - my father preferred his OM2 on balance, but my first love will always be my OM10! That would be interesting to compare film results now. Maybe I'll try that too sometime this Spring.....

@casablanca Springtime would definitely be a great time to bring back film use — so much more to photograph! I've enjoyed this exchange about our first cameras. Thanks for sharin'.

Hello there - great to see you again. I've been out this past year but wanted to keep my account active so just uploaded. Film cameras are the best!
