2014 was my first year on 365...
How lovely. I could just dive right into this scene today. I am sitting at my desk thinking I need to turn the cooler up because the temperature is rising at a rapid rate. It is meant to be 35c today, and 34c tomorrow for the first day of the new school year.
@nicolecampbell Those are beastly hot temps you're enduring. At the opposite end of the thermometer, Wednesday's HIGH is set to be -23.3°C. (-10°F) and the low at -30°C (-22F). Throw in a little wind and it'll be bone chilling cold for sure. Ugh.
@lyndemc - it is very extreme isn't it. I hope you stay warm whilst we try and cool down. We had a massive thunderstorm in the middle of the night last night. The sound of thunder and the number of lightning strikes was unbelievable.
@terryliv This winter is truly acting like winter, something we've not had in many years. I'm not sick of it yet but that's mostly because I don't have to get out in it much. All the years I've lived here in the midwest I've not bought a snow shovel. I did this year tho.
That's a lot of snow on the branches...made a beautiful photo. Fav. Thanks for your comment about the Mississippi freezing over. And it's cool to know that you live so close to Burlington. Hope you're ready for the COLD! I think every school in Iowa is closed tomorrow (Wednesday) and the Postal Service isn't even delivering mail.
