Music- A Bridge Across the World

"Music and the arts make a bridge across this world in ways that nothing else can." ~Julie Andrews

In taking this picture, I realized that I had indeed bumped the bridge yesterday in the process of setting the shot up. The cello had to lay on its "tummy" so the back of the scroll could be photographed. I had the instrument laying on two stacks of pillows, with the string and bridge in between. But because of the polished wood, the cello slid and bumped the carpet (apparently) so now I'll have to loosen the strings and straighten the bridge. My luthier would just grap the piece and pull it down but I will NOT be doing that.

One more picture to go!
Fabulous composition. Love the added color in the background.

Fabulous set up and details. You've risked your beautiful 'cello for your art and our education. Thank you 😊

Wonderful title and set up, I so agree with Jackie and enjoyed the education tremendously. I wonder if Hauser knows as much about a Cello as you do.

That map in the background pairing up with the quote? Brilliant! Beautiful image.

Thank you for following along with my spring cleaning! I so appreciate your thoughtful comments. It feels good to have it done, and I am thankful for the trip down memory lane that it provided. Giving my full attention to each room and the memories it held fostered a more grateful heart. Now it’s time to get outside and garden! :)
