For the BLACK & WHITE FORTNIGHT CHALLENGE 2: Water
Colorado is full of rushing water options! Not something I see a lot of in Illinois, at least not where I live. This was photographed in Eleven Mile Canyon.
I so appreciate the creativity that 365 inspires, demands, requires. (The description changes depending on the day...!)
2014 was my first year on 365...
So wonderful that you have the opportunity to see rushing water, we don't have a lot here either.
Wonderful shot. Love the sharpness of the rocks against the silky water.
I love the sound of running water, weather it's waves breaking on the beach or waterfalls cascading down. This is a terrific shot, making the water look like silk. Great motion shot!
@stray_shooter Way t'go! Never thought of making a guessing game out of camera settings. Oh wait, that's about what I do with every pic!! Thanks for the visit and comment shared.
@dgrynn I got to experience a number of different types of water sounds while in CO. The one featured in this pic was so loud we could hardly converse amongst ourselves thus deciding that we didn't want to live too close to rushing water like this. Of course by late summer there's not nearly as much water so thus much quieter. A large flowing creek we visited was absolutely gorgeous, both in view and sound as it was so peacefully and soft. It literally murmured as it glided over the rocks and reeds. I could've stayed there a long, long time...
