Man-made Tree

For the 30 Days Wild theme...

Sometimes the wild things make use of their human neighbor's things.

(Obviously this semi doesn't do a lot of moving. I'm working for the man who owns this truck, helping him sell a bunch of his old equipment. I was hoping the baby robins would be grown and gone by the time this truck was put on the website. Thankfully they are.)
What a cool find Denise!

Very interesting. I wonder what would possess a robin to build her nest in such a place.

Wow, that is really cool. Cant believe that they would build a nest there. As you said, good thing he wasn't using the truck at the time.

how interesting! The robin has totally taken over the window area so I'm glad to read that the truck isn't likely to be moving soon.

What a neat find! It amazes how robins can build their nest anywhere. I like the black and white treatment.

wonderful shot. My husband who worked for steel pipe company was unable to sell a bundle of large steel pipes because a Curlew had made a nest inside and they had to wait till the babies hatched and moved on.

so interesting to see a bird's nest there!
