Flying Down

Captured this cyclist coming down the bike path from Copper Mountain into Frisco...probably at about 25 mph (maybe a little more). This path follows the Ten Mile Creek which flows into Lake Dillon. Notice her right hand is on her rear brake. This 6.4 mile section of trail requires very little pedaling. However, my husband and I rode it yesterday and pedaled about 1/2 the time as the wind was about 20mph in our faces. Coming down is great...going up to Copper Mountain is a little more challenging. But anytime on the bike is a good time.

Wish I had this cyclist name and I would send her a copy.
Love this shot (at that speed I would keep both hands on my brake levers..lol)
