We hiked the Harrigan Creek Trail yesterday and somehow missed a turn. Most of the path was about a foot wide with tall grasses on both sides. At times, the grasses were as tall as my shoulders. I took this shot of my husband after we had been hiking up about 45 minutes. The trail was suppose to be 2.3 miles long and we were suppose to see old cabins and rusted ranch equipment. Well, apparently, we missed a turn somewhere because we walked UP about 3 miles and the trail never ended and we never saw anything but beautiful scenery. We think we ended up on the Gore Range Trail which goes for miles and miles. At any rate, coming back down we were really feeling our tired legs. But it was still a nice hike.
