Through the Doorway

This is part of the remains of the old Marble Mill in Marble, CO, operating in the early 1900's. The only place in the U.S. where they have true white marble. The marble was used in many monuments including the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. It's now owned by the Italians who ship the marble to Italy for processing and some is returned to the U.S. as floor tile.
very interesting and great shot.
