Finally got back out to our local nature center and saw the barred owl. We waited and waited and waited for him to scoop up a fish. He is quite far away and up about 20 feet or so in the tree at the back of a pond. So I had to crop quite a bit. It was also overcast with little light which made me raise my ISO higher than I would like. I picked this shot because you can see his talons. Sure would hate for him to dive into me with those.
