Here are two of the red-shouldered hawk babies. I think there are three but only two poked their heads up tonight. The nest is under the one of the right side of photo. You can see how hard it is to find unless a hawk in sitting up in it. It's so high in the trees that you practically have to shoot almost straight up. And the least bit of wind, of course blows the leaves in front of them. Note to self: take a tripod next time.
