@phxjanice Janice, I was completely miserable the night I painted this, and it sure did show. I assure you I don't always look this bad, or have purple hair.

just love it... I keep saying to myself that i will take painting classes... not sure that i am good at it.. then at the end, i am thinking who cares... it is all about me! how i feel! ooops! well! that is all i feel at my age!
@ginbelle Ginettte, to me painting is about enjoying myself. I don't care how it looks. I only care about how much I enjoy painting. If I get better along the way...that's great.
Go for it. Take a class or just buy paint and a brush and teach yourself. I took very few classes.

This isn't my favorite and it took some nerve to post it. @koshi I'm not sure why, but I have painted three self portraits, and they all have purple, blue, red wild strange hair. I'm a strawberry blond in real life but never liked the color. In a painting, I can color it whatever I want.
I think is a greath artistic paint/pic.
