Thanks Rick. This was by a locke in the canal and they had let the water out. The birds were all over the place and I had a good vantage point on a bridge above them.

Margaret, this is just beautiful. A unique photo of gulls. The wild water and the composition of the three birds, the black wings tips...it is all just great. National Geographic has a contest where you can enter a photo and they pick one or two for their magazine each month. They might love this one. Fav.
