I'm on my phone and I can't see this all that well. Did you forget your shoes and now your toes are gonna freeze off in the snow? If that's the case, I wish only good things for your toes and I think this shot is really cool. :)
Are you having fun? I have often thought about trying that, but still have not. My nephew used to do the polar bear plunge every New Year's Day, but this year he did not. Those people ar e abit crazy.
Having stood outside in 5ยบ temps trying more night shots and freezing to death in just a few minutes I must say that you have one crazy nephew! Cute photo.
Maggie, I agree with you. I love night photography too. When I first tried macro I loved it. I always love landscapes. I loved the zoo animals. When I try each genre - portrait, tones, whatever, I love it. I think we are hooked! I hope you post your snow woman.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. This wasn't my feet. It was my crazy nephew. I was in the yard taking pictures of birds, when out he came. Of course I asked him to stop....so I could take a few shots. Just 3 and his feet are fine.
@wac Wendy, I'm trying to improve on my portraits. They are horrible. I have a lot to learn there. Well, actually, I have a lot to learn in all areas. I'm working on it though.
What gives me is my anxiety ... just thinking about the cold of the snow ... I living in a temperate climate, I might not endure anything like that! hahaha!

I also want everyone to know, it was my nephews bare feet. He walked outdoors while I was taking pictures and I had to get a shot. I made the poor guy stand long enough for me to get 3 shots.
Yikes, that's just crazy....it's painful to look at your poor nephew's foot in that snow but kids are usually ready & willing to try this kind of crazy stuff! Me, I'm way too much of a wimp! :)
