Wow Maggie, this is quite the scene. Like the snow is being thrown down. Just a beautiful wild scene. The snowy frame fits it perfectly. I envision you inside with the fire going, enjoying the storm. You really showed us your world with this great shot.
Me too in regard to the hot chocolate. I've been thinking about making some from scratch all day & your picture was the final push I needed. So cold appearing photo.
@wac Wendy it was a very stormy day. I did stay inside with the fires. I did get out and play in it though. I have to say it was so snowy, the pictures didn't come out too good. Thanks Wendy. @cfitzgerald@kathyd@swrws@jennylee Now I think we should all have hot chocolate. Thanks everyone for the kind words. I wish you were all here with me and we could enjoy the weather and cocoa together.
Hi M. The West Bend Company still operates at a reduced level. I put a link to it on my photo. The web site gives a nice time line of the company history that you might find interesting. You earn the 365 wild weather award for sure.
@lynnmwatson@fluffy@alecio@aikiuser@lainie@bluemoon Thanks for looking and the kind words. I do appreciate them. I live down wind from the great lakes and we get major lake affect snow. I'm used to it. On this day it was a whiteout for about 3 hours. So I do the only thing I can think of. Get my camera and get out there. I do stay in my own yard and woods because it hard to navigate in.
This is your HOUSE?? Wow. It's gorgeous!! It makes me think of barns in Wyoming, which I think would be an epic place to live (in a barn in Wyoming, that is!) with um, a big ass heater for winter!
