This is a beauty of the beast! I wouldn't say "here kitty" if I were you. I am happy you were able to take a photo of the black squirrel. They are so attractive. Sorry I have been less responsive. It was a busy several days and now I have more time again.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I do appreciate them.
@callalilla Kimberly, he was standing very close to me. We were separated by the glass of course. There are three and they all spent much of there time right by the front. It shows you how large they really are.
Very great timing for sure, I have said it before, every time I go to the zoo the lions are completely secluded and never show themselves, let alone do this, how long did you have to wait to get a shot like this??
Thanks everyone for the very kind words. I do appreciate it.
@kalexa Kirstin, I'm on the other side of a glass wall. I was inches away from him, but very safe.Thank you for your concern. @gingersanders Ginger...lol. I'm one of those crazy people that run towards animals.
@chewyteeth Dave, I have to remind myself that animals are very dangerous. All I can see is the beauty or a baby. That's what this shot reminded me. They are huge and dangerous....but beautiful.
@wjw1741 Warren, I start out with the lions. Catch a few shots then wander around the zoo. I check back in at 3:30. They are always active then because it's near feeding time. I think they hope I'm their meal, so they pay attention to me. That's my trick. :-)
@oselleso@miraries@bbumble21 Thanks Bethany, Miriam and Oselleso for the very kind words. I do appreciate them.
Bethany, I don't think it's patience, I really love just watching animals. Eventually they all make faces, just like us. :-0
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I do appreciate them. It's nice to have a hobby that you love.
This is an amazing shot! But then, I'm used to that from you!
