These are some of my works in progress. I often work on many paintings at a time. So what's on your easel, or craft table, or sewing machine? Is photography your way of expressing your art?
The flower in the middle is painted from Wendy Chapman's @wac photo. She very kindly allowed me to use that and her wonderful shots of blackbirds. Now I just have to finish these.
Lovely collection, the lion's smile is fabulous! I tend to do the same, work on many pieces at once. I have a mess of a room of started projects, from paintings, sewn dolls, collage, pressed flowers... they're always waiting, so whatever mood strikes, I'm ready.
Wow! you are so talented! This artwork is wonderful! Your photos are amazing too! Photography is my art. I wish I could also draw or paint, but my growth stopped there at 6. :)

Some people are fortunate to be talented in just one area, while you are gifted in both painting and photography. You go girl. I love your photos as well as your paintings.
what a magnificent talent you have...these are beautiful...and photography is my way of expressing, so other than my camera and laptop, I don't really have a working area.
such an artsy photo! i love it!! YOu are SO awesome at painting!! they all look beautiful!!!! the way in which i like to express myself is photography yes, but ALSO writing my own songs and playing them on my guitar :)
I love this Maggie. Like everyone says your talent shines through. But, I like the photo for itself as well. I love the studio with all of the art, windows in the back. Great photo. That flower painting isn too bad either. :-().
Looks incredible, Maggie. Right now, mine is just the sunset I posted the other day. i am almost finished with an afghan I've been working on. Thanks for sharing your talent. :D
What a great collection, looks like you're really talented! I have a hard time finishing projects, I think I have about four knitting-project halfway and a few necklaces that need to be tweaked... At the moment photography is my way of expressing, it takes a lot of my time...

@wac My neighbors already wonder about me. Of course I wouldn't carry a laptop or recorder...I would just stand there and try to make bird calls. They might vote to have me taken away. :-)
These are wonderful - how amazing to see several of your paintings together! You are so talented. For me, photography is brand new. Aside from the camera, I have sheet music (Bach, Clara Schumann) on my piano, and a whole cabinet full of yarn to knit up. :)
Absolutely lovely! Margaret, you are incredibly talented. Rhythm and music are part of my soul and my art. Photography is just another way I found to express myself. I am not good at drawing or painting, but I do love working with polymer clay. :)
Beautiful, Margaret. You must get so much satisfaction when your painting. I can't paint or sew or draw - photography is my only 'artsy' expression right now!
Wow. That's so cool! i love the two birds best! I used to be a writer, but now photography is my only creative outlet...but with all this travel, it's enough!
@melissachi I am amazed that you are new to photography. Your shots are nothing less than stunning. Knitting is a talent I don't have and I really cannot play an instrument, and my singing is just scary.

@hillcrest Cheryl, I love acrylics, I work in pastels, and watercolors but not they are not my favorites. I would love to see the street painting. I hope you take pictures.
Cool, You have so many works to continue, and this picture shows your wealth of talents and works. I wish I had more time to do what I would like. It is mostly in my mind now so there is nothing to show. I had in my project some pictures of my knitting from plastic bags and some paper flowers. Recycling craft is something I always do while doing other things' like watching TV.
Love this photo...what a great studio, love the light ! Your artwork is fabulous...what a gift you have been given...glad you put it to good use ! I am working on my Mermaid hooked rug but I spend so much time now with my camera, she might never get finished ! Happy painting !
Love your work! When I was a teen I did a bit of pencil drawing, but I didn't continue with this. Photography is my only way of expression. I find painting very difficult but one day I'd love to learn aquarelle painting.
