Oh I can imagine the cubs would look way to cute. Fingers crossed you get to see them on our behalf because I'm sure you will show us the photos if you do. Wonderful shot.
Wonderful. Your photos from the zoo mean I have to go for a visit this summer and try some new poses with the big cats. Lovely. Thx so much for the favs. You are very kind and thoughtful. Off to Edinburgh today. Should be interesting.
Beautiful capture of it. These are such neat cats (I didnt a study on them years ago). Your zoo is very lucky to have them, they are such rare beauties.
Beautiful Maggie - snow leopards are so special. We met one in Darjeeling. He was in a tiny cage and was rescued from somewhere. The man who looked after him absolutely loved him - it was mutual; but it was such a tiny cage. I hope your beautiful leopard is faring better.
@moira Moira, this cat is in the zoo. I wish it were roaming free where it belongs. It doesn't always work like that and I can say the people at the zoo are so dedicated and the animals there are treated with such love and care. They do all they can to enhance their environment and I try to support them as I do have a great love of animals. :-)
@shortperson2002 Caren, that must have been so interesting. I'm thrilled the zoo has them. There is a pair, and the female is pregnant. What will happen with the babies, I'm not sure.
Aww...my fave of the big cats! If you ever make it to Oregon, the big cat park in Cave Junction has kittens every spring! They keep almost every breed imaginable there...
