Magz.. this is freaking awesome.. a fav.. and with this heat this is exactly what I feel like doing . if only I could find some shade.. and a tree!!!! Great shot...
A limp Ocelot, too cute. Great capture. I've been feeling like this in the evenings(leave the house at 4:30AM and get back at 5:30PM) , I needed a break from 365 for a couple of weeks. I'm back now, thanks for your comment and concern.
I almost forgot to tell you Maggie, this guy may have a better chance at a long life in the zoo; (although I don't know which kind he is?) The oldest Ocelot recorded was just over 28 years old, and he was "in captivity." More fun facts.........xLes
@glimpses Leslie, thank you for sharing this information. The don't classify which type it is. This is one of two at the zoo. Mother and daughter. They have to be separated because they fight. They take turns being on exhibit. I am torn about zoos. I love animals, but wish they could be in their own habitat. I know this isn't always possible now. So I support the zoo.
@maggie2 Hello Maggie - I must admit that I too, have a problem with zoos. Actually, I have never been to one; it's too hard on me to see anything in a cage. However, I do believe they have their place with much to offer, especially for endangered species, and captive breeding. I AM ever so glad that you share you pictures with us, and hope that you continue to post them. Thanks for your reply. and I hope that you are having a good week, Les
great capture
Well done for the number 1 spot in the top 20!! :o)
