How's this pose? by maggie2

How's this pose?

The cardinals are always very shy, but he hung around to pose. I think he was saying......do you mind...I'm eating.
You're right, Margaret. He's enjoying the feast . . he won't leave the "table" either. So you're the one who has to go. lol Beautiful capture!

January 19th, 2012
Some pose. With his head tilted like that I had to look twice to see what I was seeing. All that black around a cardinal's beak makes them look like they sporting a beard and mustashe. Nice capture.
January 19th, 2012
Great capture, he is so hungry - bless

January 20th, 2012
@dannydavies Danny this is a cardinal, with his head tipped side ways. The black is the coloring on his face. :-) It does look strange doesn't it.
January 20th, 2012
Great timing!! Love his pose you captured!!
January 20th, 2012
Great capture and timing! I think this cardinal was very curious about you. If we only knew what birds were thinking about us. Well, perhaps we don't want to know!
January 20th, 2012
Great timing! Amazing!
January 20th, 2012
very cute pose by the cardinal, great capture, margaret. i can only hope to get a cardinal pic one of these years! i see you feed them seeds, which is good. just a little note about bread and birds ... if in fact that's a bit of a bun I see there ... it's bad for the birds from a couple of stand points. I know that's not common knowledge, so that's why i'm mentioning it. http://ecojoe.blogspot.com/2006/10/feeding-bread-to-birds.html helps explain. it's very cool to see the cardinal and junko hanging out together! :)
January 20th, 2012
Love it!
January 20th, 2012
Great capture, yep def looks like he's asking you to move out of the way of his elevenses :)

Cute, looks like he is listening or checking you out!
January 20th, 2012
@sunnygreenwood Thank you Anne. I'd never heard that before. I read the article and it made sense to me. I can tell you, many times it lays there for days and breaks down. The squirrels take it home to their nests. Now I'll look up and see if it's the same for squirrels.
January 20th, 2012
@maggie2 oh, oh, don't get me started on squirrels! lol. i'd put it out for them for sure if it's not good for them. just kidding .... sort of ......
January 20th, 2012
@sunnygreenwood LOL I have five of the little devils eating the seed right now. If I have to feed them...they have to pose.
