Wolfie met up with a little corn snake while walking. Wolf showed him who was the boss by drooling on him and then hiding behind my legs as he shook.
We showed him!
Too cute, better safe than sorry. There are trainers who teach dogs to avoid rattlesnakes here in the Southwest. Some don't have that innate fear of snakes, I know several people who spent thousands to treat dogs who have been bitten. At least you know Wolfie will warn you by hiding behind your legs.
Aww poor wolfie, having been terrified of spiders for what seems like all my life I can understand his fear; however a few hypnotherapy sessions and I am a lot better now.
My sympathies lie with Wolfie -- we just had a 3 foot long black snake in our yard today...and even though I know, intellectually, that they are beneficial, I still DON'T like snakes!
I'm with Wolfe on this one.
Happy weekend to you Margaret!
