I was not aware of this artist and glass until 365...some time about a year ago. Then, I was in Vegas, walking through the Bellagio, and they have a whole ceiling of brightly colored glass flowers by Chihuly...and lots of statues and vases of it around the casino. You are not in Vegas, are you? This gold and white is gorgeous!
I love Chihuly. We were lucky enough to catch his exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens several years ago. Talk about amazing - they had the glass intermingled with the flowers and water. Nice shot Margaret!
Gorgeous! This is the first Chihuly work that I've seen that has a more subdued colour scheme, so the eye can take in the sculptural shapes. Well shot! fave
