Birdman Enterprise

Oamaru Harbour Regatta. Old boats, old outboards, old dinghies and not so old people participated in today's regatta. This was one of the entries for the Birdman. Note the All Black flag is flying (soon to be in the drink)

@onie Yes, that breakwater often gets floods of waves over it. It is right next to the Penguin Colony so you can imagine what the poor little Blue Penguins have to get through to their nice safe nests here!

Hi - I saw your comment on Mary's page @marytj. My younger brother lives in NZ on the north island. We are Canadian but he has been there about 20 years. I have only been to NZ once but it was so incredibly beautiful I'd like to follow you and see more.
