Actually this is John & Wendy looking for Tinkerbell. This Peter Pan statue was unveiled in 1927 in the Oamaru Public Gardens. It is a delight of sculptured bronze figures - fairies, squirrels, owl, frogs, rabbits and mice. It stands in its own garden here and I photographed it from a distance to incorporate all the lovely tree color.
@margsm Margot, I investigated that statue - it is indeed Neverland. There is no Peter Pan on this sculpture funnily enough. It was made by a London Sculptor, Thomas Clapperton!
