Change in the Air by maggiemae

Change in the Air

With little to do today after cutting down some overgrown branches ( I should really learn not to fertilise and prune - too much growth!), I looked for inspiration. This barometer has been with us for about 40 years so deserves a mention.

A poem for @teamoliver;
Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!

Excellent reflection of the clouds.

40 years, is he still working? This image resonates a hint of political intentions with me had I not read your text. I still think it could be used if not politically it could be accompanied by a nice quote or two. Thanks for sharing with us :)

It does deserve a mention and is a lovely shot. I so enjoy the objects that have been around for a while and still have a place in my home and my heart.

Nice shot, but I don't need a barometer right now to tell me the weather's lousy!
