I loved this teapot from when I could understand what a cottage was! This is a new look using another sweet item purchased in Sweden. I was going to post a photo from our major yearly line dancing event held tonight but that can wait till tomorrow if I can still hold my right arm in position. It has this bandage on it and apart from the attention I don't want, it might get nudged by an overenthusiastic dancer overbalancing from too much wine!
The colors are so lovely in this shot. You must have so many treasures from your travels. So glad you are sharing them with us. Hope you had fun line dancing and that your arm is doing okay.
@yonnie@cimes1 Thank you for your concern! In actual fact this dancing event was the event from hell! In the past I had taken photos of the dance group having asked if they minded! Unbeknownst to me till last night one of the ladies had taken umbrage and last night gave the full fury of her anger! John stood up for me, was tackled and pushed to the ground and we were asked to leave! I think I'll take up tai chi!
@maggiemae OMG!!!! How awful. Here I was thinking you would be having a good time. Nice for John to stick up for you. That lady sounds like a grouch....I have no patience for grouches and one of them is my mother's roommate at the nursing home ;-)
@maggiemae Oh, maggiemae, THAT IS HORRIBLE. I am so sorry. I'm so glad that John stood up for you. Some people are just such grumps, and I don't get it.
@northy Thanks Northy - always uplifting to hear support in odd times! It was my husband who stood up for me! I had told him about the foul language I got subjected to and he tried to fix the problem!
The lighting of this shot feels like warm honey! Very pretty and the glass jar has an interesting effect on the picture. Nice! (Once again- so sorry about that line dance mess! You did not deserve the treatment you received!)
I hope your arm is better soon
