The Zephyr by maggiemae

The Zephyr

A convoy of Zephyrs drove into the Oamaru harbourside area from South Canterbury. There were Mark 1's, Mark II's and not a Mark III! Originated in the UK around 1962.
Awesome car- Mr. Man might have considered trading in his bike for this one (for about 10 seconds).

Cool looking car. Love that side mirror--but you just couldn't put your hand out the window and adjust it ; ) Pretty nice wheel covers. Great shot, maggiemae.

@karenann - the British Motoring Industry fell on hard times and slowly out sourced and sold off everything. So cars like these beautiful Zephyrs, Minis, Morris and Leyland all kinda died out. Although in beautiful parts of the world like NZ and also in India, some of the British classics are still getting around.
