Yacht Race Day

Today was the Boating Regatta down at the Oamaru Harbour. The day was wonderfully warm, sunny with just a puff of wind. Many boats were old ones and very colouful but mainly trailer yachts. Towards the middle of the afternoon a sea mist came in and the boats all came in. We walked along this 480metre breakwater which often is covered in high waves but not today!
