This morning noticing the line of sun away out to sea, I grabbed my camera, climbed on to the barbecue table (carefully) and peered through the lens. I didn't see the sun's rays until I downloaded. They aren't as good as some peoples shots but I'm not competing of course, just enjoying!
I just noticed it wasn't horizontal so fixed it in Picmonkey!
@joluise The forground is sea and because it is in shadow, is black. That is a tree poking up in the scene- we would like to shoot it down as it pokes up so obviously in our view!
You be careful! Ha! I've been on top of our picnic table more times than I can count. Have you seen those telescoping camera mounts that let's us get a more aerial view? You could set the time and hold it up really high. When I get a new tripod, I'm getting one the telescopes out like that.
That line of sun & those rays look rather different, have always liked the rays but never seen that white line before!

Beautiful shot, nicely cropped and presented, and I do so agree with your remark "not competing but enjoying". That is surely what this project is all about, but it earns you another FAV nevertherless!
