So many people have done this so well but this is the first time I have caught a picture within the drop! After a night of rain, every plant has a drop but to get close enough not to nudge the flower and have it drop off is tricky. This is a fuschia bud.
Just caught this before i go to bed...always love water drop photos & a great sense of achievement when you catch it at just the right fullness....lovely clear reflection!
This is great - I love the way the rain drop inverts the view behind. It's on my 'to do' list to try the same effect with a wine glass and a view behind some time.
@yonnie I dislodged several drops by putting the tripod in amongst the plant so I had to get somewhere where I could put the tripod away from the plant! Thanks Yvonne!
What a gorgeous shot, Maggiemae. I love the reflection that you captured. I too have seen others capture shots like this but not many. The red color of this fuchsia sure makes this a beautiful shot. FAV
