These two sweeties were brought into the SPCA about 4 days ago. They are around 2 months old and why does someone not want them? They will find homes but in the meantime we are enjoying their company. One of them, the male, is very feisty with other cats walking past and gives them what ho!
Three Good Things:
1. Finally put down on paper what I wanted for my funeral. I'm not going to die (well not just yet) but the lawyer was at us to put it in the will.
2. Started to dig the vegetable garden and plan plots.
3. Made Kirk Roast which is what my mother called it. It must have been what was made for after a visit to the kirk! Like a mince loaf only roasted in an open pan. Delumptious!
How amazing maggiemae, I have just bought a book to put my requests down re funeral!! Harry won't talk about things like that but I like to have things planned & ready!!! Cathy says write it all down mum so I am going to....I don't plan to be needing them yet but will be easier on those left behind!!
Sorry I will get off this morbid subject & I love your little kitties...do hope they fin a loving home soon & together would be nice!
Wonderful shot. FAV! And congratulations on the planning. I've often discussed plans with the kids (involves a lot of Far Side cartoons, etc.) but haven't included specifics in the will. Good idea!
One of the reasons why i couldn't work with animal resuce, I would take all the animals home - I just hate the idea of these beautiful creatures sad and lonely. We already have one stray that wandered into our yard (Charlie) all alone and unwanted. I have no idea why anyone would dump cats and dogs.
nice of the kitties to pose for you, maggiemae. kudos for the funeral arrangement - that's always a good idea so that those left behind would at least know what to do. others view that as a morbid thing to deal with but in truth is one of the sensible things.
What a sweet shot. They look like are intertwined. LOVE IT.
Important to put those things down. Allan and I talk about our funerals, but we don't have anything written down. Our biggest problem is where we are going to be buried. I always told the kids my tombstone should read, "Okay, look this way" which is what I say when I take their pictures ; )
@happypat Saw your comment. I lost one of my sisters a couple of years ago. She had written down what she wanted, music, etc. and my niece and nephew honored her wishes as best they could. I did not read the list.
They look so adorable, Maggiemae! I would love them and pet them. I have a pup that does not like cats, so I can not have a cat right now. But I have some pretty neat "grandcats".
What a beautiful pair! I hope they are adopted together be someone wonderful.
A good idea on the planning. My in-laws did something called Five Wishes and then sent each of their kids a copy of everything right down to where the keys are to the file cabinet. At the time we thought it was a bit morbid and then realized how smart it was.
@grannysue Well Linda I did think I was a little odd thinking about funeral arrangements but reading these comments I am so glad to see it is almost normal!!!!! Good for us @maggiemae!!

Good thinking about the will planning bit. I need to do that, but keep putting it off.
