Inspiration

The inspiration for this photo came from a little painting by a NZ artist, Nancy Tichborne that is in my working diary. I substituted oranges for tomatoes, didn't have a similar vase or the right flower - she used wattle. So its fairly much my composition for that.

Three good things:
1. John pressed a button on the remote that sent the TV into space. I was able to find the solution.
2. Love seeing day to day photos on 365, those not necessarily trying to be a terrific photo.
3. John did it again but remembered the right button to get it back.
A nice composition. Well done

Beautiful still life! Glad you corrected the TV/remote...it's so annoying when that happens...but then relief when it's fixed!

HOW did you process this!? It is so gorgeous! Fav! Your number 1 combined with 3 made me chuckle! So funny. Those are good things. And about your number two...I have just been thinking about that lately...because I often don't put up a more "here's a pic of my day" shot, to put up what I think is a better photo...Well, I also do it because to me, with my macro lenses, it is so COOL to see new things and share them on here. But for yesterday's shot, I reminded myself that I need to post every day shapshots of my life. So that is why I went with the front porch/tennis shoes, the manhole cover, and the snail. They were just things I encountered in my day.....

@espyetta it actually took ages - the light changed throughout the day and the shots became better. I used the "befunky"app to turn it into a watercolour picture and I really loved it! Thanks for your fav!
