Under the huge tree, the tiny bulbs were bursting through the ground - all colours but the crocus were mainly shades of purple. It was a wide spread of colour and meant I had to lie down on the wet grass to get the right height! Naturally there were a few people with a smile on their faces!
Three good things:
1. Spring must be coming as the weeds are growing madly - sprayed them today.
2. Biking to town enabled several wildlife scenes - ducks on the pond - one white duck was being furiously oomphed by 4 large drakes; a ferret ran across the road and dogs in the pound barked as I went past.
3. I love my new clock radio.
Lovely that you're moving into spring! Crocus are my favorite spring flower. Probably because they're first after a long dismal winter.

Gorgeous shot Maggiemae, I love those stripy veins on the crocuses. I remember lying down last spring to take shots of snowdrops, crocuses and scilla, will probably do it again next spring.
