I biked down to the supermarket to get just a few groceries but of course, got carried away! When I got out to my bike and its two paniers, I thought there was no way I would be able to carry all six bags! I got my phone out to ring John to come down and save me but my phone was flat! Hence dilemma! I had to walk home!
Three good things:
1. It only took 20 minutes
2. Saved the petrol which has gone up in price.
3. Had my exercise for today including mowing the lawn so afternoon off - reading, 365, waiting for the predicted snow storm to arrive!
ooops! i well remember the days when i had to be careful how much i bought at the store because of the risk i wouldn't be able to get it all home... glad you figured it out and got your exercise into the bargain! at the bike store where i got my tune up they have a sign that reads: "cars run on money and make you fat; bikes run on fat and save you money" - ain't it the truth?!!
snow... chilly... I have done the same thing, purchased too much to carry and then had to get it home somehow :) but you really enjoy your chair when you do get home.
well you are ready for the snow.. milk , bread, eggs and TP.... working for a grocery store we would have been packed with people if the forecast was snow.. Great job with getting it all the way home....Did John help bring it in?
Oh dear...best laid plans gone awry. :) Snow? That's the first mention of snow I've seen on 365 in quite a while. Glad you made it home safe and sound with all of your provisions before the first flakes begin to fall.
You did very well.
Lovely summer day here, about 23C and sun.
Phone batteries are always flat just when you really need them.
Nice shot.
