A Dreamer's Moon

Dreamer's Moon

A luminous full moon kisses the trees
leaving tears of silver on all that it touches
while gentle meadows slumber peacefully.

Serene and quiet the night embraces
an innocent world of dreams
- untouched -
by the harsh sunlight of reality.

Such sweet sadness, unchallenged,
as though the dreamer fears
that with that touch, his grasp will loosen
- only to find -

... reality is himself.

2. Today is going to be better than yesterday.
3. I might even sing a bit!
