The White House by maggiemae

The White House

This house is a lovely white painted two storey home which stands out above the harbour. From my vantage point in would have a wonderful view as I did, including a church.
Processed using invert - now looks like snow on the roof.

Three good things;
1. I have plenty of time during the day to twiddle, not like a lot of 365 hard working people.
2. A pleasant talk with our lawyer before signing some documents.
3. Daikon - a recently discovered white vegetable like radish but the size of a large carrot.
Great processing

May 14th, 2014

Interesting result really suites the shot
May 15th, 2014
@maggiemae Yep -- we're waiting for @jyokota's husband and then we board in about an hour. I'm trying to shift from flat out crazy work mode to lay back relax mode -- not easy! So 365 is my relaxation til we have to board as the next 24 hours won't be my favorite part of the vacation.
May 15th, 2014
@taffy just lie back and think of England, Taffy!
May 15th, 2014
@maggiemae Good advice...but England is only Heathrow so I'm going to start thinking southern France and the wineries!
May 15th, 2014

Looks like you've moved to Alaska! My daughter is talking about a trip to NZ at Christmas which is going to make me sooooo jealous!
May 15th, 2014
Your processing has completely transformed this shot into another season....weird but wonderful. Snow on your roof tops & a lilac sea.......great how the outline of the house is in relief against the sea.....a pretty shape.
