This little shepherds hut has been somewhat renovated. A kitchen and bathroom were added and in this part here were two bedrooms leading off from each other. Not exactly private. The light cord dangled from the high ceiling and the bed was right against the wall. However its good to have just the basics to appreciate the luxuries. No wifi here of course and not exactly good anywhere else so I have missed seeing everyone's pictures.
Three good things;
1. Although our trip was through consistent rain, the car was warm.
2. Good to find even one thing when they didn't pop up and hit you in the face.
3. I love the word, thing - it can mean anything!
Well you did go back to basics but what fun! Like being teenagers again, how romantic! Makes a change from The Sky Tower Hotel!
When are you going home?
@maggiemae made commenting so much easier with this iPad maggiemae...was a nightmare before when I had to go to the office, I seemed to spend all night in there. Now I can comment while still looking reasonably social.
Great for only one night. Better than sleeping outside. It must make you appreciate the finer accommodations you have had even more too! Nice composition with great color.
I was going to say "How lovely" ... but then I thought "No WIFI? How could anyone survive a whole night there?"
Seriously though, it does sound intriguing.
Great picture of an unusual resting place. When we went to NZ, i emailed my sister everyday as we were all planning a 90th birthday treat to NZ. It was her holiday of a lifetime!
Nice texture and pov, and all the rain has made the grass very green. It does look a bit primitive but you are right about its making one appreciate things less primitive. (Yes, "thing" a useful word!)
